Configuring Google Maps Pro

All our blogs come with the Google Maps Pro Plugin by WPMU Dev installed as standard. This has some great benefits such as allowing you to automatically geotag the location of your blogposts on a Google Map - fantastic for residentials; you can also create your own custom maps for any topic work, for example locating Roman settlements in your area etc.

Before you can use Google Maps Pro you need to configure the plugin by adding an API Key (a key that allows your blog to communicate with Google Maps and use its services). You can set up your own Google API key, but it's a little tricky, so instead, simply drop us a line and we'll send you a key.

This video show you how to add the API key and configure Google Maps Pro - it takes less than two minutes to complete this task.
